@bhaugen ops, that's a problem with the light theme, if you click the moon icon in the top-right that theme should work better, will report the bug anyway thanks!

@fishinthecalculator Cool stuff! 😊 I don't see the log but assume it's a known bug we had in the last release. Will trigger a new release (though can't promise there won't be other bugs, lots of work in progress at the moment while we work towards stabilising the codebase...)

Hello everyone, I implemented a #Guix System service [0] for #Bonfire that I'm running on a physical machine [1] at home. It uses the OCI image under the hood and I took most of the implementation details from CoopCloud's recipe.
Bonfire starts correctly but when I go to the signup page I get a 500 error. I'm attaching the log for the request. It seems to me a bug or some strange boolean comparison but I still don't know elixir good enough to understand. Do you have any inputs on what I might be doing wrong?

@anhnguyennguyen thanks for your words 😊 we plan to keep using this instance beyond the beta phase to keep showcasing beta features and test it in the open (and potentially co-design new features with users) - but federation will remain disabled. We do not want to have a flagship instance, but rather support users and communities to setup their own, eventually easing the hosting process bonfirenetworks.org/hosting/
@ivan great call not wanting to have a flagship instance! One a project goes that route it's very challenging not to have the flagship instance's priorities take precedence over everything else.

Even though Bonfire is currently in beta and the Campground ist just a test instance, I find myself enjoying the cozy design and discovering numerous promising features. The potential attraction for new users is evident. My wish is for this instance to endure beyond the beta phase, transforming into a flagship instance post the 1.0 version release.
