Hi, I'm a student currently discovering my passion on alternative ways of living through FOSS. I'm inspired and hopeful that we can take down big tech by focusing energy on building real value. Ultimately, due to unregulated neo-liberal capitalism, big tech corperations will continue to enshitify their own platforms for the sake of profit. However, this will and is already causing backlash. The culture is on edge. The economy is edge. The politics is on edge. The people are at the end of their rope. The renaissance is coming. Don't run away and into the forest. Don't stake to much hope on polticians and leaders. Don't doom and scroll. Just build. Envision new ways of communicating like bonfire. Seek to build decentralized systems. Find ways in which to make "trust me bro" unnecessary. These are the structural changes that can actaully shape a future. FOSS developers have the ability to change the very landscape on which humanity stands. Culture, Economy, and Politics are all within our grasp.
