Hi, I think it would be nice to add an "add to circle" button on profile pages #bonfire_feedback
It seem that on the current build the Posts feeds show the same thing as the Activities.
The Posts feed does not show replies, but only the initial thread
Like I stated earlier, Bonfire clearly isn't ready for serious usage yet. However I intend to keep checking by once in a while to monitor the development progress and give feedback as well.
Are you fine with getting feedback directly in the campground or would you prefer if one opens issues directly on GitHub?
yeah, bonfire is not production ready yet, we've created several milestones on github that hopefully will guide us toward the awaited 1.0

Question: do the feeds in Bonfire Campground automatically reload and refresh themselves to show the latest entries? Or do I need to reload the page myself?
I'll stop reloading myself for awhile and see what happens....
@bhaugen new entries are automatically added at the top of the feed via socket subscription - though we're still experiencing bugs with feeds that are drammatically slowing the whole instance. Hope we figure more about it in the next milestone github.com/bonfire-networks/...
Hey @ivan, @bonfire@indieweb.social I love the latest Bonfire release. Is there a migration pathway to convert existing mastodon instances? It might become a requirement for communities that want to take advantage of Bonfire features without having to start over from scratch?

@bhaugen you should be able to create a circle and use it in the composer to customise the boundaries of your post!

Are y'all working on performance improvements? Seems slow, but I have not measured it. I'd be happy to participate in some performance testing if we could incorporate some good measurements.
We made some benchmarks and some improvements but still not found the root cause 😔
@mayel The main issue I have with this post is that the image descriptions are hard to read, I get a greyish bubble with no text inside while hovering my mouse on the "alt" bubble, and when I try to show the full image description I get dark text on a slightly lighter bubble.
We're currently noting down here all the mobile / UI issues to be addressed for the next release (input welcome here or on github as well 🤗 )
