well here is the neat part: a retoot is an object that says "hey ive retooted this : LINK TO THE POST".
Well, to access to the "fediverse object" you need to (postal 2 voice) sign the petition. With the petition signed you can see who is asking for it. "holy shit its meta and this user hasnt said anything about it yet. nope, nothing here for you"
Meta federation should be a per user opt in. thats my opinion and that is what Im gonna try to do with wafrn.
not opting in? if meta ask about you i have no idea who you are. If you are mentioned by another wafrn user the post would not be sent to meta even if you had followers there, since you are speaking with someone who decided NOT to be seen by meta.
There are still some stuff that I need to fix, and if meta starts federating before I have this shit ready, I will fully block them until everyone in here can choose to federate with them.
