A good portion of autistic people (me included) can hear high pitched sounds nobody else can. Like those old box TVs, fucking horrible. It can make spaces completely inaccessible to us, and most people don't even notice.
This is one example of why only the oppressed can beat oppression. Many times we are the only ones who can even notice it. It will not be states, doctors, or managers that will ever fix this shit. Direct action is the only possible solution.
