The campground instance was updated to a new release with various improvements 🔥
@mayel The password reset emails are being send from the account "test@zo.team". Not sure if this is on purpose or a configuration error. Though, I'll let you know.
@mayel The main issue I have with this post is that the image descriptions are hard to read, I get a greyish bubble with no text inside while hovering my mouse on the "alt" bubble, and when I try to show the full image description I get dark text on a slightly lighter bubble.
@Oceane testing an image with description... what error did you get?

Here I try to post an image with a description:
And again, two images with descriptions:

Ok, so apparently I can't post image attachements, at least not with image descriptions.
Here I try to post an image without any description:

Sorry, my bottom-of-drawer phone made me post before adding the second image. Really sorry about it.
this cw is just a test and hides only one word: test

Here are two screenshots from my RSS feeds reader, I'm posting the first one with a post from « Pages de gauche », a Swiss socialist review, and the second one with a post on Mastodon:

@bonfire@indieweb.social The latest release includes a way to switch between both modes while drafting a post, so you don't have to choose just one!
Yes, I'm here on Bonfire trying to figure out what it is and how to use it.
Did some experiments with @Hamishcampbell@campaign.openworlds.info
-
Looked like our messages were federating between here and Hamish's home domain and sometimes social.coop where I was posting some of the messages. Does that seem possible at this stage? Or did I misinterpret? If so, good to have some federation going on!
-
Early in the conversation the message traffic seemed very slow. Neither of us were sure we could communicate. Later, the round trips seemed a bit quicker.
-
Overall result: we found and seem to be following each other. One weird possible bug was that I saw discrepancies between my Followed and Following lists. I need to go back to find them to report. Don't seem to be able to keep that open....will add a reply....
So I saw Hamish (Vagabond) in the list when I clicked "Followed", but Hamish was pretty sure (or at least tried) he also followed me. He might have tried and failed, or maybe my lists are incomplete?
(I also found it hard to understand the "Following" buttons in the right column of the "Followed" list, but they seem to allow me to unfollow somebody in the Following list. Right?)
When I look at the results again, I doubt that I saw a bug or a discrepancy, just the usual difficulties of communication and understanding of something new.
