Sorry, I did take the time to appreciate how snappy the last update was, but I haven't been vocal about it.
I'm going to toggle a few switches and see what happens. Is it normal if I can't fetch a post through another instance (Firefish)? Is the federation still disabled?

ps we've added an info label at the bottom of the right sidebar, that indicates the instance federation status - so that users are aware of that specific instance setting 😉

Hello everyone! Looking forward to trying things out and giving feedback!
I tried to post this on my phone, but bringing up the input box did not trigger the keyboard on my phone - perhaps there's some setting you need to do on mobile to make sure it considers this input as a textfield.

Is UI of #Bonfire actually slower and heavier than, e.g. Mastodon and similar, or is it just this instance out of resources?
@pactox there are still some performance issues that we need to properly fix, that's why feeds are slower than they should be

There is an issue with the theme, when I try to change it, it doesn't reload the new theme, instead I click on "USER" and change to "ACCOUNT"

Howver, there are some rendering problems in the post - extra backslashes (before newlines I think), and a line below @Fediverse_Report's post that seems to imply another invisible post. The parent post has a screenshot.
And, the parent post with a screenshot also originally had all this text ... but it disappeared when I posted, leaving only the image. Then I tried to edit it and add the text but that also didn't work.
@jdp23 thanks! we're aware that is not possible to add text when there's an image in the post, but we didn't yet found how to fix the issue

Ok so the “text disappearing when inserting an image” bug also appears in Librewolf in troubleshooting mode
yeah that's a known issue we're experiencing since a few weeks now 😅
After checking my notifications it doesn't seem to be broken anymore
ehe it's currently broken only when the post appears in the feed the first time , after reloading the page it works fine 😐
The current bonfire version we are running here looks quite clean and polished. Kudos to the developers!

so thanks. Explicit invitations would still be a good feature....
currently admins do have the possibility to create invite codes in their settings
