Hi! Just checking in on the bonfire. 🔥
Are we federating here yet? @firstname.lastname@example.org
What's this? Pages on Bonfire?
Hmm somehow my text didn't make it through. Firefish was it the markup?
When I try to favorite a post, this error is appearing (Not found).
No sentry link is applied when I click Share feedback, although it does create a new post with the feedback template.
Also - great process for providing feedback! Maybe too easy. 🐞
Now just an article with no attached image. Does the Preview Card display in a larger format?
Hi there. It's been a few weeks! I see quite a few new things to try out. 🔥
As I've done elsewhere, testing out Preview Cards. How will Bonfire display cards with oEmbed and OpenGraph meta data?
#bonfire_feedback Testing when I can. I wanted to mention something that I ran into when I first joined. I thought "well, this is happening because these areas aren't ready yet" and just shrugged it off, but now I think maybe it wasn't supposed to happen.
If I went into my settings and clicked on "Circles, Roles, Boundaries", I was getting an error message with the little flame icon showing. I couldn't do anything with those areas. Now I can see them (maybe about two weeks ago?) and the overall concepts are making much more sense to me now. 🙂
Unfortunately, I didn't save any screenshots from back then. I think somehow I added a boundary and then from there none of the three areas were erroring out anywhere - could it be erroring out if you don't have anything defined?
This is next to the worst kind of bug feedback you can get - the worst being none at all. Just make note of it, if someone else runs into the issue at least you can remember it had happened before.
An easy but useful #Apple #Shortcut for iOS / iCloud+ subscribers. Get the most of the “Hide my Email” option! It’s easy to use when you’re in Safari or email, but sometimes you need to use the feature outside of those scenarios.
This shortcut opens the dialog directly, without having to dig through your settings. Note that it might take a few seconds for the modal window to pop up, but it will!
Would it be possible to setup an account so that they can ONLY interact with users within specific circles and boundaries? And even further - limit that user's response types (like, retweet only)?
Unabashed Praise for the Bonfire Crew
On a profile, I chose "Send Message" from the option dropdown. The option pops on along the bottom right of the browser window, but I couldn't figure out how to expand it and actually send the message. It just showed their name, but I couldn't figure out how to show the compose / send buttons. #bug
