I don’t know if it’s from the same developer, but I still have the Racoon for Lemmy app. It was sad to see them give up, I hope someone archived jthe community and the APKs. It was a good Lemmy app.
Pardon my ignorance, please but what is friendica? I’ve not heard of it before.
This is tragic but also super-interesting. They already have 25 countries who have formally agreed to recognise their digital nation.
If they end up with many more, as I should imagine they will, it's a step further than what Estonia have done.
Tuvalu will exist as a diaspora, as a nation state with borders which only exist digitally.

It’s not just you! Bridgy Fed is badly behind right now. Started around midnight PT last night, task queue peaked at over 3M tasks (!), 7h delayed. Down to 2.5M now, working through the backlog. Not just organic growth, something unusual happened, but I haven’t been able to look yet. Hopefully soon.
In an unrelated coincidence, I got pretty sick last night, and I’m still pretty out of it. Tough timing.
Also, Bridgy Fed has decent observability and tools for these kinds of events, but I deliberately don’t set it up to page me in the middle of the night. It’s still just one person’s side project, after all.

If you are on mastodon.social I strongly recommend that you move to a different, better moderated instance. There are many such instances.
Additionally, I recommend you move to a instance with a much smaller user base. You will find that your fediverse experience improves dramatically when you do.
