J'espère finir le salon ce soir, hors cadres car sinon c'est 8j d'échos relous. Ils seront décrochés la veille.

Last year The Markup revealed that tax prep companies sent sensitive personal information/tax related info/financial info to #Facebook without clear disclosure or expressed consent. This was primarily happening because of the #Meta Pixel, which collects data on websites that implement it - regardless if you have a Facebook/Meta company account.
Afterall, who files taxes and expects that information get sent straight to Facebook/Meta when using a tax prep software?

Une de mes BD est vendue 3€ (au lieu de 12) sur le site de l'éditeur soi-disant parce que ce sont des retours librairie. Du coup, lui fait un petit bénéfice mais moi aucun ou minuscule.

En effet ce mois-ci j'ai décidé d'arrêter d'utiliser Twitter pour promouvoir mon travail.
Je ne sais pas encore si c'est une mauvaise décision, mais une chose est sûre, si mon travail se balade ici ça ne pourra que me faire un peu moins peur !

Pay attention, though. Around 2/3rd of the books recommended in this thread have some torture, violence or mutilation in it. The recommenders don't seem to remember it.
You should know best whhat you want to expose your child to, but ...
@bookstodon I'm looking for book recommendations for an 11yo who reads at a much more advanced level. He likes sci-fi. He has read the Hitchhiker's Guide series and loved them. I think he would enjoy some more 'hard' sci-fi as well. He needs something challenging but without subject matter that is too mature. Thanks for any help! #sciencefiction#bookstodon
