@ahrimans_erbe @magador @RosethornRangerTTV @actuallyautistic i am finding out that modern LED lighting also blinks or flickers as it ages.

also that even new modern LEDs on AC power have a flicker problem. it seems to be due to use of the cheapest possible power supplies.

i am switching to straight up dc powered lighting as soon as i can.

mobile/rv lighting is moving from incandescent to LED fairly quickly lately. unfortunately it is still mostly garbage.

That really strongly depends on the quality of the in build transformator. But going DC with a proper transformator sets you on the safe side I guess.

also, for my dc lighting, i am going to use batteries with a right and proper "smart" battery charger/maintainer.

Will also look into what else I can power from dc.
