On ActivityPub people follow me because I'm talking about topics that interest them. I think I'm aware that I don't even share knowledge as much as a consistent feeling of – a sort of motivation to get up and go march for justice, organize for the planet, or something.
On Diaspora* people follow me because they want to genuinely interact with me, we care for each other. You… may have recreated this on this instance? Honestly I don't know how so I don't really know what I'm talking about, but this might solve the issues underlying the TPB conflict (and believe me, I do understand some of these issues) (just like I understand why Facebook have contacted Mastodon admins just when the Reddit migration had begun. Monsters).
sorry, interesting but also potentially distressing and negative
There's a trend which consists in talking about monsters in rock songs and this may be because monsters symbolize predators, which is a recurrent thematic with capitalism – and thus with abuse
How?? Did you make a Diaspora*-tier UX on ActivityPub?? This is wizardry to me

they're great and much needed ❤️
Thank you!
HMU if my bug reports are unclear or if you need additional work from my part!

I'd like to seize this opportunity to say that I love the current design and that I've set the Halloween theme because IT'S HALLOWEEN SEASOOON
(And I'm a trans non-binary woman and this fixes me a goal to learn makeup, I want to have something decent on October the 31st)
i love that theme too 🤣 i like also dracula and lofi...
Ok so the “text disappearing when inserting an image” bug also appears in Librewolf in troubleshooting mode
yeah that's a known issue we're experiencing since a few weeks now 😅
After checking my notifications it doesn't seem to be broken anymore
ehe it's currently broken only when the post appears in the feed the first time , after reloading the page it works fine 😐
The “show more” button seems to be broken

How delusional can you be to claim that the NSA didn't have an admin access on every major publisher's IT infrastructure back in 2009? But whatever.

FWIW, the built-in agent spoofing methods in the Tor browser don't seem to trigger the issue. (Fuck you CIA, I know you've killed Bottero)

I'm obviously talking about the ActivityPub frontend, not about another web browser.
By the way, inserting a link in Bonfire feels… I don't know why?… like playing to Pokemon Saphir for the first time. Literally the first time I've talked with decent people.
But after the link is formatted you have no control for its scope in the text itself, e.g. in Org-mode in Emacs when you start erasing the last character in a link, it interprets this as erasing the last character in the link formatting (a closing bracket). I hope I'm clear?
I have to go now, see your later!

Ok, so toggling agent spoofing in the Chameleon extension for Firefox, on Librewolf, seems to toggle the bug.
This isn't an issue with e.g. Firefish.

The spacing bug disappears with Librewolf in troubleshooting mode?? I'm going to try by disabling add-ons one by one
(I get some weird behavior in unordered lists too, i.e. sometimes the bug appears again, sometimes it removes a non-space character)
