yes, a public post is a public post and people can reply and are often even encouraged to do so (just like is happening here in this discussion)
the thing is some replies are the online equivalent of throwing tomatoes at someone, talking over them and repeating what they said, or even something more violent. None of those actions are helpful.
a proper reply adds to the discussion. "reply guys" are usually more about acting as if the person who originally posted does not know what they are talking about.
Hard agree. The number of individuals who are too swamped to take any interest over, what, two years? is likely to be quite small.
To the "Whatevers" and "Don't Knows": This referendum is important; if not to you, to many others. It's incumbent upon you to learn what's at stake. Welcome to active participation in a democracy.
My dad (who I'm sure is autistic too) is a lorry driver. During the height of Covid he had to have his temp read by one of the infrared guns to be let into centers for dropoffs. Sometimes he wasn't allowed in because his temp was too low.
"The saying is sometimes attributed to Groucho Marx, but according to The Yale Book of Quotations, there is no reason to believe Groucho actually said this. Instead, it traces the Groucho attribution to a post from July 9, 1982 on the Usenet group net.jokes;[11] however, the closest match in the Google Groups archives is really dated to September 8, and does not mention Groucho."
Yesterday it was raining (predicted to rain hard) so I took the bus to my psych appointment and then to a D&D game. Unfortunately this meant a lot more walking than I normally do.
Multiple doses of painkillers and muscle relaxer yesterday (and a good dollop of rum) and I was able to get to sleep.
Still sore today, needing to take more meds. Hopefully school will not be too stressful
"Climate activists are sometimes depicted as dangerous radicals. But the truly dangerous radicals are the countries that are increasing the production of fossil fuels." Antonio Guterres, UN secretary-general.

doctors seem to not have any other explanation for it than hypothermia from getting cold, but I'm sure it's not the reason why it happens to me.
Overload cold IS a thing.
In my experience, early intervention is essential. When I notice my throat is just a little sore, a few liters of tea and rest will beat it. Since its origin is overload, trying to soldier through it is very unwise.
Once again, I wish I could pin boosts to my profile. :(
