Hi there sandbox. Newly joined, but I've been watching what Bonfire's been up to since you turned up at a Fediforum, and looking forward to a chance to see how well you trample a Mastodon.
I'm part of the admin teams at wandering.shop and cosocial.ca, but also a grad student trying to figure out a pitch for a capstone project somewhere in civic tech + urban communites spaces, so getting more into Bonfire has been realllllly intriguing.
@johannab great to have you here! We will have some cool announcements in the coming weeks, and would love to hear more about your case studies
@ivan will you be attending FediForum next week? I had hoped to join a session related to this. Unfortunately I literally have a direct conflict, I will be in another province at a 3-d forum related to my other studies for this term. That said, I will try to drop in when I can and am currently doing online-social jigsaw puzzles in my head and my Obsidian notes, trying to relate these two realms.
More when I suss it out, but I would love to connect in the coming weeks over whether I and some collaborators can support your team with some sort of early user testing and feedback.
@johannab sounds great! We will indeed attend the fediforum, demoing the open science network latest release, but very much open to join any relevant sessions later...
